In Ningbo, Zhejiang, a three-story villa once limited by spatial constraints has been revitalized through designer Chen Jianxiang's visionary approach. Using light and geometry as his primary tools, designer Chen Jianxiang reimagined the interior with a sunken courtyard that draws natural light deep into the home. Blending modern French aesthetics with an intellectual, leisurely lifestyle, the villa now stands as a seamless integration of Eastern artistic conception and functional design—featuring a full suite of natural stone furniture from Chunfu.

The villa suffered from inefficient spatial planning and a lack of natural light, creating a stagnant and disconnected atmosphere. The goal was to deconstruct these limitations while establishing a harmonious dialogue between modern French elegance and the quiet refinement of Eastern aesthetics.

Spatial Reconstruction: A sunken courtyard and geometric interventions reorganized the functional layout, allowing natural light to penetrate deeply and redefine each level.

Chunfu's natural marble was used throughout the villa for side tables, coffee tables, dining surfaces, consoles, fireplaces, and kitchen islands. The gentle veining and solid presence of the stone introduced fluidity and elegance, uniting all areas with a continuous material language.
